Simon Tedeschi

World renowned concert pianist Simon Tedeschi is the Patron of MicroLoan Foundation Australia. He is currently based at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachussets, USA.

When first  introduced to MLF Simon said “I was thrilled and fascinated to learn about the work MLF is doing. My hope is that it will make a true, lasting and pivotal change to those who need it most, using a clear business model. As an artist, I am so excited to be part of this initiative and urge the support of the wider community to get behind it.”

Simon has been a wonderful supporter of MLF, and  in June 2010, Simon;the wonderful Sydney based jazz pianist Kevin Hunt; and the sublime Ukranian violinist Mariia Gorkun, all gave up their valuable time to put on a fantastic concert so as to help us raise funds for our Malawian office.

Peter FitzSimons

Peter FitzSimons, the well known Australian author, sports journalist and broadcaster has become a MicroLoan Foundation Ambassador. “I encourage you to support MLF. By providing some of Africa’s poorest women access to capital you are empowering them to lift themselves from poverty, building a business model  that is self-sustaining and reduces the need for future aid.” said Peter

Bob Geldof KBE

Bob Geldof KBE – is the  Patron of MicroLoan Foundation in the UK, and has been a very vocal, long time supporter of improving conditions in Africa. He was the man behind “Live Aid” in 1985 and “Live 8″ in 2006. He is a great supporter of micro finance as one of the best ways to provide meaningful outcomes for the continent. “MicroLoan Foundation is helping thousands of people escape poverty right now; I am putting all my support behind MicroLoan Foundation and urge you to do the same”.
